Iron Forest Building Company

Privacy Policy

Effective September 18, 2026

Iron Forest Building Company (“Iron Forest,” “we,” “us”) builds custom homes in Breckenridge and across Summit and Park Counties, Colorado. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit ironforestbuilding.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Real people read the messages this site sends us, and real people wrote this page. If anything here is unclear, email us at info@ironforestbuilding.com.

What we collect

What you send us

The site has two forms. Neither creates an account, and nothing you type is stored on this website itself.

  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), who you are reaching out as, and your message.
  • Let’s Get Started form: your first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of project, its location (optional), your estimated start date, whether you are already working with a designer or an architect, and anything else you choose to tell us.

If you email or call us directly, we keep what you send us in the ordinary course of business.

What is collected automatically

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard server logs when your browser requests a page. These can include your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. We use them only to keep the site running and secure.

Site analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site: which pages are viewed, how long visits last, roughly where visitors are located (city level), and what kind of device and browser they use. Google uses your IP address at the moment of collection to estimate your location and does not store it. We use Google Analytics only to measure this site. We do not use its advertising features and do not link it to any advertising account. Google explains how it handles this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Spam protection. When you submit a form, a spam-prevention check confirms the submission came from a person rather than a bot. That service and our form provider receive your IP address and basic browser information along with your submission.

How we use it

  • To reply to you, and to talk through your project if that is why you wrote.
  • To keep a record of our conversations and, if we work together, of the project.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • To keep the site secure and filter spam.
  • To meet legal obligations or protect our rights when the law requires it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Writing to us does not put you on a mailing list.

Cookies and similar technology

This site sets no cookies of its own. The services below do:

NameSet byWhat it doesHow long it lasts
_gaGoogle AnalyticsTells Google Analytics that this browser has visited before, so visits can be counted.Up to 2 years
_ga_ followed by an IDGoogle AnalyticsKeeps track of the current visit.Up to 2 years
Spam-check tokenBotpoisonA one-time reference used to verify a form submission. Held in your browser’s session storage, not a cookie, and not linked to you.Until you close the tab

There are no advertising, social-media, or cross-site tracking cookies. No third party collects information about your activity on other websites through this site.

Your controls. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can stop Google Analytics on every site you visit with Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Both forms work with cookies blocked.

Do Not Track. Because we use Google Analytics only to measure this site and not for advertising, the site does not change its behavior in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. The controls above do the same job.

Who we share it with

Service providers. These companies handle information on our behalf so the site can work. Each is bound by its own privacy policy and uses the information only to provide its service to us.

  • Netlify hosts the site (United States).
  • Formspark delivers form submissions to us, and Botpoison runs the spam check. Both are operated by Trampoline Software SRL in Belgium, and both store data in the European Union.
  • Google provides Google Analytics (United States).
  • Microsoft provides Microsoft 365, which runs our email (United States).
  • Sanity delivers the site’s photographs from its content network.

Project partners. To scope a project or answer your questions, we may share details from your inquiry with an architect, designer, or subcontractor we work with, sometimes before you have hired us. We share only what is needed to move your project forward, and never for their own marketing. If you would rather we keep your details to ourselves until we are working together, say so in your message and we will.

When the law requires it. We may disclose information to comply with a law, court order, or subpoena, or to protect the safety, property, or rights of Iron Forest, our clients, or others.

If the business changes hands. If Iron Forest is sold or merged, your information may transfer with it. This policy would keep applying until you are told otherwise.

How long we keep it

Form submissions stay in our form provider’s system until we delete them, and copies live in our email. We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep our business records. Google Analytics keeps usage data for 14 months and then deletes it automatically. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

  • See, correct, or delete your information. Email info@ironforestbuilding.com. We will reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some records where a law or a contract requires it.
  • Opt out of analytics. Use your browser settings or Google’s opt-out add-on, described above.
  • Skip the optional fields. You never have to give us a phone number or a project location to use the forms.
  • Keep it between us. If you would rather we not share your details with a partner before you have hired us, say so in your message.

Children

This site is for adults planning a home. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions travel encrypted, and access to inquiries is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Links to other sites

The site links to other places, including our Instagram profile. Those sites have their own privacy practices. This policy covers ironforestbuilding.com only.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will say so at the top of this page.
